I am using the latest version of the in5 plugin on our website with WordPress 6.4.1
My problem is that publishing through the plugin does not work. When I click on "Click to embed here" in the WordPress editor, the two tabs "Library" and "Add new" open. I upload my .zip file under "Add new", and the files upload but then nothing happens at all... The .zip file appears in the "Library" tab but nothing happens in the body of the page.
I would be very grateful if you could help me with this - I'm not sure if there is interference with another plugin?  We do not use some of the other plugins that you have stated cause interference such as Eleminator or WPGlobus.

Thanks!

Usually issues with adding content to WordPress stem from interference with a third-party editor, plugin, or theme that is interfering with the in5 WordPress plugin.

You could try the following:

It's possible that it could also be an issue with the file size of the content that you're uploading. If that's the case then you can try increasing your upload limit:
If you're still having trouble after trying the above, would you be able to send us a screenshot of the readout from your Console? Here's how you can access the Console in Chrome:
  1. Right-click
  2. Select Inspect
  3. Click on the Console tab
You can either post the screenshot with your reply or send it to us here:

I cannot get this to work either. It was working fine, and now uploading files via the In5 plug-in no longer works. I have disabled plugins - I cannot upload the HTML5 files into the page in WordPress.  Also increased the file size  - and it had been working for me but now it isn't.

This is the screen shot - we have disabled plugins and upped the file size.. still does not work. It was working for me a few weeks ago after we made those changes but now it does not.

Thank you for posting a screenshot of the error message from WordPress. The error message alone does not provide additional information that can be used to troubleshoot your issue.

Would you be able to send us a screenshot of the readout from your Console? Here are the step-by-step instructions that you can use to access the Console in Chrome:

  1. Right-click
  2. Select Inspect
  3. Click on the Console tab

You can either post the screenshot of your Console here with your reply or send it to us. If you're having trouble accessing the Console, you might contact us here:

the problem is that when i get that message, i can't even get off the page without closing it entirely. If i click ok, nothing happens, if I click on the back button, nothing happens. I have to close the window entirely.
If we can't get this figured out, we will need to cancel the subscription. It has been a couple of weeks now that we have tried to get this figured out.

Try closing the error message and then using the steps to look at the Console.

The Console should give you more information. If you're getting a 500 error code, then that is a generic server error that is displayed when the specific issue is unknown. In that case, it's likely something about your server configuration that is blocking the in5 WordPress plugin's admin functions. Your webhost may be able to take a look and get more specific information about the issue.

You can also try the Old Way of uploading to WordPress that doesn't use the in5 WordPress embed plugin:
