Hi,

New to all of this, so am struggling in certain areas.

I want my background image to be fixed (pinned), whilst the text scrolls above it. I have achieved this with scrollable frames, but I have found them flaky on export, with elements moving around, even though grouped. So, my next port of call was the Fixed Position widget. It works, but doesn't honour the Indesign layers. Is there anyway to make this widget keep the layer order?

Thanks

By default, the Fixed Position Element is set to “Show for: This Document.”  If you're seeing it ignore layer order or appear in unexpected places, that setting may be the reason.
To make sure the fixed element only appears in the intended layout and respects your design structure, try changing the “Show for” setting to “This Layout” in the Fixed Position widget panel. This ensures it only displays within that specific layout and helps maintain layer control.

Hi,

Thanks for the input – I truly appreciate it.

Unfortunately, making the object "Show for this layout" brings the object to the front, just like the other settings in this widget.
