Can a video keep playing when a user changes orientation?

I am using responsive layouts with YouTube videos within an MSO. When you play the video in the vertical layout, it's pretty small so I am assuming that most users will shift the orientation to horizontal to see the video and then want to go back to the vertical position to keep viewing the page.  When I do this, the video stops playing.  Does anyone know a workaround or how to make it shift on the fly without the video stopping?

In previous tests, YouTube videos were able to go full screen and rotate.

Alternatively, you could try Vimeo. It has a Responsive option that you can select for the embed code.
